Rubini is a very bright but economically challenged student from a village backdrop near Arcot, Tamil Nadu. Her Mother is the sole breadwinner for the family, working as daily laborers with meager & inconsistent income. Rubini had scored 449/500 in SSLC, 1052/1200 in HSC. She had joined B.E., ECE in University college of Engineering (Govt college, subsidiary to Anna university) last year. She had scored 75% in her I Semester. Now Rubini is in such a crunch situation & is in dire need of Anavi. Mr. Veera Kumar, our member visited the family and validated all the information before forwarding the request for sponsorship of Rubini. Anavi had decided to sponsor Rs 10,000/- towards II year fees of E. Rubini. Rubini would be our first new beneficiary for year 2010-11.
